Lyubasha is one of the most popular Ukrainian winter garlic hardy varieties, distinguished by high winter hardiness, pronounced aroma and high yield. It is the first (and currently the only) Ukrainian garlic variety included in the European variety catalogue.
- Appearance: The garlic heads are medium to large, with a pale white outer skin and purple streaks. Each head has an average of 5-6 large cloves, which have a characteristic purple covering.
- Taste: Very sharp, spicy and strong aroma, perfect for fresh consumption, canning and cooking.
- Durability: Very good frost resistance and resistance to diseases such as fusarium.
